This is an amazing opportunity to blaze a trail in one of the east of England’s most respected and ambitious communications firms: Spring, the agency for change.
2014 is already shaping up to be a mega year for Spring: so if you’ve got the will to work hard, the vision to win, the personality and drive to make things happen, and the ability to write like an angel, this could be the start of something wonderful for us both.
We need someone who is completely au fait with best type of core PR – press releases and distribution.
Who is used to getting well targeted national coverage for a range of B2C clients, as well as industry focused coverage for B2Bs.
You need also to be familiar with social media and blogs, so able to create and run a fully integrated on and off line communications strategy as part of an ongoing creative marketing programme or on its own.
You will know where to find journalist enquiries, how to create and work to a comms plan, and you’ll be fleet of foot to create opportunity from news events.
You are highly literate and able to create compelling article content as well as releases.
You’re a confident and articulate communicator, with a winning way with clients and enough charisma to deliver great presentations.
You will need to arrange journalist visits and events, and manage and host them.
You will need to set good objectives and KPI’s and know how to deliver against them, report back on them and adapt them if need be.
You are comfortable with a range of media and platforms for content generation and delivery, not just written text but also film, events &c.
You will work on our own PR and blogging, including awards entries, as well as clients including tourism, manufacturing, food and drink, construction and politics.
It is highly likely that you will also provide support to our planning consultation division.
You will need to be a fast, accurate and cheerful worker. We are a mid-sized, fast-paced team with a highly ambitious focus on growth. Spring’s reputation is strong as a provider of compelling and effective campaigns for a range of clients regionally and nationally.
We are offering a competitive Account Manager level salary, but would also be open to approaches from more senior people who want to propose a rewards-on-results structure provided they are hands on and hard working.
Spring perks are famed: this year we were declared the east of England’s most innovative independently-owned employer. Springers enjoy Friday gym, Spring Hero lunches, twice-yearly Cultural Expansion Grants and a range of other benefits.
And at the end of their first year, most Springers become share holders, giving them an active voice in, and financial rewards from, the growth of this exciting company.
Our offices in Southwold are happy, friendly, hard-working and so close to the sea that we narrowly escaped floods last week.
So: what are you waiting for? If you are the best PR you know, 2014 could be a very exciting year indeed!
Please drop us a line (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your CV and your thoughts on why you’ll be a fantastic Springer.
